Trispec was founded in 1983 and prides itself in providing leading network solutions to Tier I and II wireless, wire line and CATV operators across Canada. Our solutions encompass the full spectrum of OSI layer 1,2 and 3 wireless and wire line networks, as embodied in our clients centric philosophy of E:SIE Engineer: Supply, Install & Evaluate. Specifically we provide solutions in the following areas:

Broadband cellular: Including DAS (distributed Antenna Systems – including RF surveys, IB Wave design),MW back-haul, rapid deploy,P2P,PMP,XTTA as well as full turn-key macro-cell build solutions-from Tower to base stations.
CATV: including transformation of legacy OSP infrastructure, Xpon, Rfog, FTTX, HFC, headend, Docsis 3 etc.
End to end IP solutions: Including core/Edge switches & routers, xDSL, Wi-Fi, etc
P2P and PMP wireless: including access, WISP and backbone transport
Specialized Technologies: including video quality probes. test & measure equipment, EAS and logistics and staging solutions

Trispec has offices, staging and warehouse facilities in Markham, Montreal and Calgary and currently have active projects across Canada, including the Yukon and NWT. Our core staff of engineers, project managers and logistic professionals are augmented by a partner network of structured cabling & installation crews.

Job specifics:
Reports to: director, National Sales
Start Date: Immediate
Travel: Around 50%

Job Responsibilities:
Responsible for selling Trispec’s full suite of products & engineering services within assigned territory. Clients include tier I and II telecommunications carriers, CATV operators as well as xISP’s, government and certain other large enterprise clients.

Skill & Technology:
The ideal candidate will have a university degree or College Diploma and extensive (5+ years) experience in technical solution sales, ideally to carriers and network service providers.

Key Performance Indicators:
Identify and qualify opportunities within assigned territory working with the support of Product Specialists and system engineers.

Maintain accurate opportunity funnel, contact history and ensure timely completion of sales tools and or other tools.

Ensure that sales forecasts are accurate – special emphasis on timing of booked revenue.

Ensure that all quotes and proposals are submitted to Sales Operations along with an ATQ (Authorization to Quote)

Follow the prescribed support model for each product and ensure that pricing and vendor contacts are directed to product specialists

Maintain over-all accountability and knowledge base of all sales activity occurring in designated territory

Execute campaign plan as directed by management and/or product specialists. Develop channel sales partners.

Ensure that Clients receive outstanding client service and that commitments made are within the capabilities of the company and the product/solution sold
